3 Reasons Why You NEED a Flocked Christmas Tree

Writer: Jeanna CrawfordJeanna Crawford

What the flock!? You haven’t gotten a flocked tree yet!?

Maybe it’s because you’ve heard the “rumors.”

Are they messy? A little.

Do they require a bit more love during set up? Yes.

But…

The right flocked tree can create a Christmas Moment second to none. The organic nature of the pin and flock just can’t be matched with a green tree.

Here’s why you need a flocked tree NOW!

  1. Flocked trees require less ornaments. This is the tree that practically decorates itself! It already comes dressed!

  2. Color palettes are so easy to design. Choose your color pop if you want one and then add any and all pearls and translucent ornaments in varying sizes. Choose picks that accent the tree’s natural beauty. You are now a professional tree designer!

  3. Flocked trees glow like snow on Christmas morning. Don’t live in a place where you’ll ever experience the joy of a White Christmas? Me, either. For us in SoCal, a flocked tree is as close to that magic as we’ll ever get. We’re going to celebrate - and then go swimming!

I live for a long-needle flocked tree. The ornaments dance close to the heart of the tree and the branches are forever free to be their glistening, gorgeous selves! Plus, with a flocked tree, you can skip the ribbon!

My cat is the only reason my flocked tree now lives outside ( I just got her for Free woohoo! My hair stylist is my age and we recall the 80’s😂 and have a blast.) Michigan, is a fickle state, wait five minutes…. I decorate late now that I have a husband to be; his birthday is January 7 so we leave it up until the end of January, maybe into February lol.

So, now that I’ve discovered my inner Christmaser, I’m learning everything thing I can about P’s, and practice, because ‘22 I’m going to be collecting every roadside tree I can and give it a new purpose, even if it means releasing the branch and making them into…
